G-tec.Events has been formed as a sister company to G-tec Garage Services to solely deal with all the drift event aspects of the business taking care of Drift-Inc, one of the longest running drift practice days in the UK, (RDC) Retro Drift Challenge, a retro event usually run once a year, and Drift League GB, our national championship featuring 6 rounds in 2023 over 4 tracks in England, Scotland and Wales.
Drift-Inc events are based at Pembrey Circuit in Wales, less than 15 miles from the M4 motorway.
Run by some of the most experienced drift practice day organisers and marshals in the UK, Drift-Inc days offer a friendly, safe and fun atmosphere that maximises quality, driving time and value for money.
Suitable for everyone, the new purpose designed and built Drift-Inc track at Pembrey is good for beginners wishing to get the hang of sliding their first corners, right up to seasoned veterans wishing to either have a fun day out or hone their skills.
The track layout is hugely varied, giving a wide range of corners with speeds and styles in a single lap, while remaining flowing and fun for all skill levels. Thanks to marshals at strategic points throughout the lap, an easy to understand safety flag system not only keeps everybody safe, but maximises track time.
The Retro Drift Challenge is geared towards older drift cars being able to stretch their wheels and showcase some truly amazing builds, born of many hours of dedication and hard work.
Drift League GB was established in 2021 as the main championship series run as part of the Gtec Events family, this year (2023) sees 6 events each over 2 days at 4 different tracks across the UK.
Drift League GB (DLGB) is a very driver focused championship with prices kept as affordable as possible, making it one of the most accessible and enjoyable ways to be part of competition drifting.
Not only do we aim to give you maximum seat time and fun, but it’s run as a true competition series with a large prize pot and door to door action with some of the coolest and most varied selection of drift cars in the country!
While driver enjoyment is key, safety and organisation is something we also pride ourselves in and thanks to our experienced team of marshals and safety crew, your experience will be as trouble free as it will be fun.
